Gonzalo Tobal

Gonzalo Tobal wrote and directed the shortfilms To Shut the Lid (2003), Family Album in Four Installments (2005) and Now everybody seems to be happy (2007), awarded with the First Prize of the Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival. His shortfilm Cynthia still got the keys (2010) was presented at the Cannes Film Festival’s Critics’ Week. Villegas is his first feature film.
