By Season 3 things started to properly unravel. No one was yet mature enough, even though Mr. Divine had already gone through a second marriage (and it still wasn't to Carrie). But is it possible not to be up to your ears in it after so many episodes? You find yourself rooting for Miranda, Sam, and Charlotte to finally find the sex they deserve. They really don't want that much from life. ;)

Season 2 got more episodes or more space to portray the individual main characters. Carrie's relationship with Mr. Divine was transformed, and the failed side characters from Season 1 were forgotten. (What was the name of the guy Carrie set Miranda up with? Nobody knows.) The wedding episode was great, and there was also the cruel new breakup with Mr. Divine. Sex and the City has come into its own. Can Miranda really find herself in a relationship with someone so ordinary and honest? Charlotte and Samantha are still just fun dolls to play with. Later, it would not even be possible to place Charlotte in a story about a shoe fetish, for example.

Season 1 was a bolt from the blue. Mini episodes about relationships, glossed by the author of the Sex and the City column. We were just getting to know her friends on the written lines. With how Carrie first met Mr. Divine, with how she and the other girls reacted to the trends of the 90s. All those remarks about monogamy and the horror of motherhood and marriage didn't take on a concrete form until much later. This was such typical 90s HBO fun, talking bluntly about the sex lives of single women. If so, and if not, then why.

Except for the fact that Minnie never had her own show, it’s good to see that she got one after the year 2000. Unfortunately, these 3D shorts are only for preschoolers, which is a huge shame. Minnie and Daisy are otherwise fine characters with a long history (not only) alongside Mickey Mouse.

It’s an enjoyable comedy that, even without all the gardening context, has the chops to become more human. The truth is that the feud between the youth and their parents will never go away. At the same time, it's a fitting response to the squeamish who were expecting to laugh one more time. Now, they can go all out.

Half of it is a rather mediocre documentary that balances too many individual fates and careers in a relatively small space. Most of the material is additionally colored, and the commentary is superficial. Much better is the trio of documentaries Hitlers nützliche Idole, in which everyone has their own bit. I.e., Schmeling, Riefenstahl and Rühmann, one by one.

The Spooks is a positive surprise in Troška's filmography. It is a modern fairy tale story in the manner of the TV series The Invisibles. It's not necessary to go to the movie theater to see The Spooks, but as a family TV show, it's very good. It's also a change, not a picturesque South Bohemian classic or an awkward idyll. It has a few good ideas, little-known actors in bigger roles, and nice exteriors of Liteň as the cherry on top of a pleasant unpretentious spectacle. This is an unexpected balance for a Zdeněk Troška film. That's probably why his numbers are so poor again - people don’t like it when he tries something new.

It's good to once again watch Cosy Dens. I notice now that the film has aged. We are only tempted by a shortened spectacle, which was an important piece of the mosaic of the Czech past, but not an absolute and definitive view of the mythologized events of the 1960s. So, what's left of it? Yes, that character solo by the beloved Kodet. But the story of the domestic tyrant is already very familiar to Czech culture.

The surviving modern series about Exner from Erben's workshop comes to an end, paying a debt to this substance that began in 1966.

One final case. This time known from an earlier treatment. While the old TV production didn't turn out great, it's the perfect culmination for the current series. On the recommendation of his rusty dentist, Exner unravels a story around a family full of intrigue and a village full of gossip. It's so human...
