I was only "persuaded" to give it a fourth star at the end. Clint Eastwood's immense charisma is magnified a hundredfold by a fine story. For me, Gran Torino is a film that has heart, grit, and most importantly, its own personality.

A brilliant idea, and that's what the success of the short is actually based on. Plus I found the story quite educational... the guy wanted more and more and so he got it.

For me an outrageously well thought out series almost to a fault. The interplay of the past with the present keeps you in suspense. 1st season: I definitely rate the first season as the best. It's interesting to watch people bond, argue, and do things they might never do in the "normal world". 100% 2nd season: In the second season, I was worried about original lineup getting disrupted by the second group. In the end, it was a nice diversion. And that's especially thanks to my favorite Ana Lucia (Michelle Rodriguez). 99% 3rd season: A slightly weaker season. We do get into The Others, but some of the stories are a bit boring. 90% 4th season: The journey home is within reach. I don't like that the original group is splitting up, but the homecoming is nice. 98% 5th season: Some things are explained well enough. Still, I'm getting pretty confused and want to get back to the beach (!!!). I really liked the last two episodes, though. 85% 6th season: Surprisingly, I'm pretty happy with the ending. The alternate future was developing quite interestingly. I'm tearing up and sad to see it end. 85% Favorite characters: Sawyer, Benjamin, Kate

So far, here's how I see it: a lot of bad language, a little bit of sharp wit, and a lot of sex :-) A weaker 3 stars.

A story that is huge and scary and, unfortunately, true. I'm a fan of this film, mostly because it reveals a different slice of reality. I admire Waris Dirie endlessly and can't imagine the pain she must have gone through. A lot of emotion, pain, and fear came out of the film. Still, I think a story like this might have deserved better execution.

I didn't waver for a minute over any rating other than 5 stars. James Franco played his role perfectly, movingly, and naturally. My hand ached for him from the beginning and my heart was pounding until the end. The imaginative and, most importantly, original ending only made me believe that this film is 100%.

I'm not a fan of parody, but my curiosity got the better of me... I adore Twilight and know it perfectly, so some scenes entertained me quite a bit. I have to admit that the leads were good, some of the supporting characters quite good as well. Still, I would have cut a lot of the awkward scenes.

This isn’t my cup of tea either, but I have to admit it's really funny. It just can just really get on your nerves at times. A bunch of young teenage girls flying around the school screaming... but then all it takes is one line and you're like "Let those clever girls fly around". Some of the characters are really comical.

Quite an adventurous series. Too bad I'm not younger because I believe younger girls would really like it. Who wouldn't want to be a mermaid too, right?

My huge weakness for films from Ireland has deepened again. And it might be the biggest cliché ever, but the trees are falling and the sky is smiling even though it's raining. Love in my eyes like crazy. At least three scenes where my eyes teared up and at least two scenes where I couldn't stop giggling. I know very few romantic movies that have that kind of atmosphere.
