When I watch the film The Valley it occurs to me that while it's nice to look at these beautiful landscapes, honestly, it's more interesting than watching the actions of the characters at times, but I would like even more to see this in person, to experience it myself. We have become too accustomed to experience coming vicariously.

Unfortunately, it's just a remake of the 1951 film of the same name, which was shot in black and white and which suited it very well. The film from 2007 is, of course, in color, but there's much more overacting than in the original movie, and honestly, it's not as funny. I was expecting Clavier to overact a lot, but in the end, he's not the worst of the bunch.

Is it a thriller? Is it an action movie? Is it a comedy? Is it drama? Is it gritty? You don't really know. It has a little bit of everything, yet it doesn't fit into any of these genres. By the end, it seems like it's supposed to have a message, but since I didn't like the main character at all - except for the fact that he had a pretty wife - I don't care about the message.

Looking at the poster, I was hoping it would be a pretty cool B-movie that would be action-packed and fun. There is a bit of action, but it's not much fun. It's a shame the creators didn't loosen up a bit; otherwise, the result wouldn't be so forced. However, I must highlight the masks, which are very well done and quite prominently stand out above everything else.

Don't look at the title, because there is nothing here associated with Dunkirk. It's simply an attempt to attract viewers at the moment when a high-budget Nolan film is out. This is a low-budget film, people in uniforms are running around in the woods because someone wants a code. And that's it.

It's a good story, written mostly by life itself. The adaptation to film was achieved in a fairly average way, but interesting actors managed to make the film more than watchable, allowing viewers to connect more deeply with the characters. The actors really save it, whether it's Sheen, Rooker, or especially John Cusack, who delivers a great performance here.

A well-made film about a young man's realization of his orientation. His character development is simply well-done, whether it's how he changes his wardrobe or how he changes his attitude, appearance, simply even his facial expressions. The film is excellent in this respect, but overall it failed to impress me as if it didn't even know what to say.

I was a bit surprised by how long the film is, and I almost feel that if it were shortened by an hour, the viewer wouldn't actually miss out on anything significant, although this way viewers managed to connect with the characters and understand what happened at the end and what it meant for the main character. But it is the finale that shows the beauty of the love of life and dreams, even though it may appear otherwise.

Fernandel isn't my favorite comedian, in fact I'm just getting to know him properly, but I have to say I was more comfortable with the aesthetics of the film than his acting. Even though it's clear that it's very interior-focused, even when it's in exteriors, it had its charm and there was something to it. However, some of the ideas can engage the viewer.

Even though the film Zombies vs. Joe Alien seems at the beginning like something that could be a cool amateur action and maybe even a funny B-movie, it eventually gets stuck and unfortunately isn't very funny either. But I quite liked the characters here, and I would be curious to see how they would fare in a slightly better execution and especially with a slightly better overall story, where there would be some better ideas.
