GoldenEye is already twenty-five years old, but it still remains the essence of everything that made me (and many others who grew up in the nineties) become a fan of 007 and open up another area of film history.

With each further reflection, the disappointment grows. From Malaton, a very well-formally managed and played tearjerker with a simplistic script emerged. However, Seung-woo Jo deserves and will receive one long-awaited medal. His autistic portrayal was phenomenal and thanks to him, I would recommend this race even to those who are less moved by sensitive dramas than I am. Unfortunately, at least half of the precisely measured emotions pass me by.

Lone Scherfig on a slow journey to the top. The first work of hers that fascinated me was Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself, and the same fascinating feelings were evoked in me by Italian for Beginners. Rarely does one succeed in combining romantic comedy with drama so well, and in such a way that the culmination is heartwarming and inventive, and despite its naivety, it leaves the viewer with a feeling of beauty. Some muscular injuries can only be treated in one way.

At first, I frowned a bit at the unknown Leone, but after a surprisingly tired traditional opening episode, I started to smile happily. It could be said that instead of the usual unforgettable dark hero in the foreground (Eastwood in the dollars trilogy, De Niro in Once Upon a Time in America, everyone in Once Upon a Time in the West), this time it relies on a buddy duo of likable guys, but in the second half Coburn shines brilliantly and thanks to ingeniously shot flashbacks, he presents another great Western character with a psychological trace in the soul. There is no need to overly idealize Dynamite just because it belongs to the divine Sergio, similarly to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, the pace is surprisingly unbalanced. Nevertheless, I was once again convinced that Leone will remain an immortal giant. Even though the undeniable Ennio does a considerable amount of work for him, as usual.

When I put these character archetypes next to each other (dissatisfied advocate, evil guards, mild patients), it creates one big cliché. But in this combination, the result excited me so much that I have to give this underrated film five stars. The true essence of humanity and life values usually find their way to me very easily, and thanks to the breathtaking acting performances and tear-jerking moments, Instinct made it even simpler.

Acting is great, humor is fine, but overall, there is a big question mark. Everyone is scruffy, lisping, and just strange, and I somehow can't enjoy the story and sometimes even the lines amidst all of it. From a film, with the reputation of a Coen masterpiece, I would expect more than just - however fast-paced - amusing bizarreness.

A lineup of favorite Coen-esque actors in a straightforward and darkly comedic homage to noir. And although I greatly enjoyed Ed's darkly toned journey, the silent parts of the legal plot deliver unnoticed blows below the belt. However, everything else is excellent, from the brilliant Thornton to the adorable Scarlett, the superb atmosphere, and the beautiful piano soundtrack.
