The Hunt for Planet B

The Hunt for Planet B is a documentary about The James Webb Space Telescope and the people – most of them women – responsible for designing, building and operating it. Once launched into space, the telescope will provide new insights about far-flung galaxies and the formation of the universe. Filtering the presentation of this remarkable instrument through these idiosyncratic and charming scientists, filmmaker Nathaniel Kahn crafts a down-to-earth documentary about outer space and humanity’s quest to probe the mysteries of existence.
