Morbidly obese Fede spends time secluded in his flat with food, TV, and beads to make jewellery. Every venture to the outside world is terrifying, yet it all starts to change when he rediscovers his passion for photography and buys a second-hand camera. With his new camera, the boundaries of being a prisoner of his own body and his overbearingly protective sister loosen, and the possibilities of new horizons appear – thanks to unexpected allies, a teenager obsessed with comics, and his own brother-in-law. A nice, simple movie about an outsider and his problems and joys – restricted to what little he can experience in a shabby apartment when dealing with a family visit or meeting a new friend. It’s his friends and his beloved camera that give his life some meaning.
