Deep in the highest and most remote mountain range are the home and hiding place for the legendary Silver Stallion. It's a magical film that knows exactly what it wants and manages to portray it successfully. It was nice to watch the beautiful Australian landscape, listen to the effective score and also to watch a then still unknown Russell Crowe before all the big roles and awards came along. The sad and brilliantly filmed ending just highlights everything. 80%
