The Monterey Pop Festival in California, which took place June 16-18, 1967, definitely deserved this documentary, which perfectly managed to capture the music and the times. In fact, I probably would have preferred to go to that festival over Woodstock just because of how much quieter it was, but all the big stars were there. The songs are amazing.
