Opisy(1)

The musical adventure film goes back to the early eighteenth century, the times of the battles between the Hungarian insurrectionists and the pro-Austrians. Palkó and Jankó are about to join the insurrectionist army when they clash with a pro-Austrian troop. Jankó is captured and put in Count Koháry's prison. In the Hungarian insurrectionist camp Palkó falls in love with Éduska, the daughter of Rosta Márton, a honey-cake maker. Rosta and her daughter pretend to be Biberich, earlier a pro-Austrian prisoner nobleman, and they go to Koháry's castle with the intention of thwarting the Austrians' strategic plans. Éduska visits Jankó in secret, and he immediately falls in love with her. The real Biberich, in the meantime, escapes from his prison and this results in a very embarrassing situation, but Palkó manages to invade the castle with a trick. He happily hugs his love. Jankó also finds comfort in the arms of Panna Czinka, a travelling musician girl. (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)
