While I didn't exactly learn how mackerels taste from the movie, what's more important is that this is an immensely beautiful film. I mean to look at. The visuals are just amazing. These colors are so beautiful to look at, and it's clear that director Ozu understood that. Beautiful story, but the packaging it comes in got me even more. ()
