Nick Marshall (Mel Gibson) robił wspaniałą karierę w reklamie do czasu, gdy Darcy (Helen Hunt), specjalistka z tej samej branży, nie wysadziła go z siodła. Początkowo nie wie, co począć ze swymi świeżo nabytymi umiejętnościami. Ze zdumieniem odkrywa także, że nie tylko nie jest darem niebios dla kobiet ale niemal wszystkie z nich mają go za palanta. Powoli Nick zdaje sobie sprawę, że owe talenty może wykorzystać do swoich celów, zarówno osobistych, jak i zawodowych. (Monolith)

An enjoyable comedy that has quite a few deaf spots, but never slips into awkwardness. Sinatra's music perfectly illustrates this, the comedy genre suits Mel Gibson and the great actress Helen Hunt is excellent. The film loses its breath a bit at the end, so I see it as a decent 3*.

A romantic comedy with a great cast, with everything a good romantic comedy needs. An unusual plot, Mel Gibson and great chemistry between the central pair. Helen Hunt plays an excellent supporting role to Gibson. They complement each other perfectly and they make the story believable. Possible. And that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it? That’s the main thing.
