Yes, ladies and gentleman. This is exactly the type of movie that turns you into a fool and, if there are more people watching this film on TV, we’ll get to speak of a whole chain of fools. Traktor, an unidentifiable object from the West, tried to shoot something that contains several nice music videos. No wonder, as Traktor has a lot of experience with making music videos. Anyhow, these moments come together with a crazy story and a chill-out atmosphere. Not bad for watching it once. (13.01.2013)

Chain of Fools is a series of black crime comedies, whose success was started by Guy Ritchie with his hugely successful hit Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Chain of Fools is star-studded, but otherwise, it's a B-movie that really doesn't try to be anything profound and from the very beginning slides more toward being a crazy comedy. A chain of coincidences, misunderstandings, and crazy situations that the viewer will be satisfied with, as long as they don't expect a prestigious spectacle and can forgive the screenwriter for prioritizing simple entertainment. In essence, I enjoyed it more than the acclaimed The Hangover, and even though it's not a great film and the real quality difference compared to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, for example, is more a case of two stars, I ultimately lean toward giving it four stars. Actors like Tom Wilkinson, Jeff Goldblum, and Elijah Wood really enjoyed their roles, and Salma Hayek actually parodies the fateful beauties she has played in many previous films.
