Single parent Nanna invites her daughter Cille on a cruise to the Caribbean to celebrate her 18th birthday. The expectations for the trip are high and celebratory plans for their time on board have been made well in advance. But on the very first evening, the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when an assault occurs – or does it? Danish director Michael Noer captivates us with his psychological thriller from beginning to end, subverting the audience's expectations with ever new twists and turns. He makes us sympathise with Nanna, who must now take things into her own hands as she fights for justice. Tryne Dyrholm delivers a stellar performance as the lead character.
