angielski Even at the time of its creation, when the 80s were filled with similarly conceived short story horror films, Nightmares was rather below average with the distinct appearance of a TV film, which should have been made into a horror television series. After all, the stories do not connect to each other in any way and thematically each falls into a different horror category. In addition, this film is significantly marked by the passage of time, especially the last short story about a giant hellish rat, thanks to the crazy special effects, which comes across as an unintended parody. In terms of screenplay, direction, or acting performances, it is not a work that could achieve any success today, and its relatively decent rating will rather be related to the nostalgia of fans who saw it sometime in the past. Overall impression: 30%. ()

angielski A pretty good selection of short stories, but at the end you have to admit that while it's thematically very broad - four stories, each truly different - you eventually realize that the themes are a bit worn out and that you've actually seen them in horror films before. But I'm not saying you won't enjoy it. I had fun with each of the four short stories. ()
