Jack Crow staje na czele grupy powołanej do walki z wampirami, działającej na zlecenie Watykanu. Podczas jednej z akcji zespół niszczy gniazdo wampirów. Jednak najgroźniejszemu z nich, o imieniu Valek, udaje się uciec. W XIV wieku źle przeprowadzone na nim egzorcyzmy dały skutek odwrotny do zamierzonego, uczyniły zeń nienasyconą bestię. Gdy po wykonaniu kolejnego zadania grupa Crowa świętuje sukces, wampiry dokonują pogromu, z którego z życiem uchodzą tylko Crow i dwaj inni łowcy. (TV 4)
