Yosemite Sam winds up in hell and makes a deal with the devil to trade places with Bugs Bunny, which, of course, proves harder than it sounds, in "Satan's Waitin'," the first section of this compilation of cartoon classics culled from the comedic cranium of animatior Friz Freleng. In the second section, "The Unmentionables," Bugs is recruited by Uncle Sam to put an end to gangsters Rocky and Mugsy. The final sequence is "The Oswald Awards," an Oscar ceremony for cartoon characters. Nominees include the Big Bad Wolf in "The Three Little Bops" (a wild jazz version of "The Three Little Pigs"), Sylvester and Tweety in "Birds Anonymous" (a strange satire of 12-step programs), and Bugs Bunny in the classic "High-Diving Hare." Bugs wins the award, causing a furious Daffy to challenge him to a duel of vaudeville-style dancing and gags (from "Show Biz Bunny"). (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)

I loved Looney Tunes when I was a kid, and after watching these cartoons, I have to say that the magic is still there. Who wouldn't be amused by the perpetually angry Yosemite Sam trying to take down the cunning Bugs once and for all, Duffy laying a golden egg, or the Oswalds being handed out as a parody of the Oscars? a great show, albeit aimed at a younger audience.
