Ścigani przez policję i sprawców zabójstwa - sprytną Eve (Joan Severance) i jej bezwzględnego wspólnika (Kevin Spacey) - postanawiają sami wymierzyć sprawiedliwość złoczyńcom. Efekty ich działań przechodzą najśmielsze oczekiwania, bo choć Wally i Dave mają swoje słabości, to jednak z pewnością nie są głupi. (Polsat)

angielski I first saw this comedy around 1993 and I remember it being very enjoyable. I watched it today expecting to be underwhelmed, but I'm perfectly happy to keep the original four stars. I had a great time again despite the film's dated feel. The premise was great, Kevin Spacey hasn't been edited out, Joan Severance was a treat for the eye, and the final duel of the blindmen had me in stitches. ()

angielski The weaker spots were there, but they didn't bother me - I took them as little snippets amongst the hilarious funny scenes. Besides the photographs being taken at the police station, I almost went crazy when, for example, Gene Wilder “quietly" penetrated the greenhouse. That really has to be seen. Last but not least, I liked that the film didn't make fun of the blind or the deaf, but also that at the same time it wasn't too careful - in short, it knew the right measure. ()

angielski This film left me with two clearly defined feelings. Gene Wilder reminded me of the time I was watching him in Blazing Saddles and enjoyed the film even for the fifth time. And then I was reminded or Laurel and Hardy, only with completely different actors, one of whom plays the blind and the other the deaf. A very nice slapstick with a solid old-school vulgar Czech voice acting, which I appreciate. ()

angielski Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder become the witnesses of a murder. One didn’t see it, the other didn’t hear it. But, together, they set out to solve the case, despite the trouble they get from the criminals, from the police and, to some extent, also from each other. Still, this film is about a lovely friendship and team work. Without each other, they are nothing, yet once united, they form a strong duo. Both protagonists are incredibly funny entertainers, and it’s hard to imagine this flick without them. A great comedy. [KVIFF 2018] ()
