On one side of a street in Hamburg, there’s döner kebab, and across the street, there’s a pork gyro that smells of tzatziki. A collision of two quarreling nationalities that’s fought through food – I thought it was great. It’s not really about food, but the kung-fu commercials were flawless. Kebab Connection is original in every way and if you get used to Ibo, you’ll be happy. The German Film Festival has shown that Germany can also make high quality comedies. ()
