eXXXorcismos

If sexual desire is a ghost projected on bodies, then eXXXorcisms is about incarnated desire, because it sketches the materialized eroticism of a ghost. But in spite of its title, this is not a horror film, nor is it one of demonic possessions. It’s also not a porn parody of that genre, even though it approaches sexuality in an explicit manner and has many things in common with ghost’s stories inspired by Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw. While in high school, Marco Antonio and Pedro have a love affair they swear to seal with a suicidal pact. But only Pedro keeps the promise of dying of love. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
