With regard to the film, I'll start with a style question: Do you believe you can torture someone by making them watch Disney movies? I don't even want to imagine the agony Wednesday and her brother must have experienced. Yeah! I still get chills whenever I think about it. On the other hand, the memory of this quite entertaining film brings a smile to my lips. Charmingly morbid humour and superbly rendered characters, among whom Christina Ricci, as the endearingly dark and perpetually sullen Wednesday, stands out.
