Po śmierci ukochanej żony Heather Connor MacLeod, szkocki wojownik, opuszcza rodzinny kraj i zaczyna podróżować po świecie. Trafia do feudalnej Japonii, gdzie spotyka nieśmiertelnego czarnoksiężnika Nakano. On i Connor zaprzyjaźniają się, a słynny mag daje Szkotowi wiele cennych lekcji. Wkrótce do Japonii przybywa odwieczny wróg Nakano, Kane, który zaprzedał się złym siłom. Na szczęście zostaje uwięziony przez maga w jaskini na kolejne stulecia. W 1994 roku grupa archeologów uwalnia Kane'a. Ten zamierza zabić Connora. (TV 4)

Christopher Lambert needed to pay the rent one year in advance again. If I knew what would come of it, I'd pay it for him out of my own pocket.

This really doesn't have anything to impress. It's just a repetition of some scenes from the first movie but with a different attempt to put the story together. The flashbacks are dreadful, the effects too, the acting is standard, but the only thing that stood out for me was a somewhat beautiful erotic scene. The villain is fine, but there simply isn't anything here to truly justify a continuation.

The Sorcerer is definitely not one of Highlander's worst films. Deborah Kara Unger and Mario Van Peebles were never able to act decently, but knowing the imbalance of the entire film series, it's not that bad of an experience. As usual, the flashbacks are one of the better aspects.
