angielski You know what? I had almost as much fun as with the first one. And I wasn’t drunk, high or after a lobotomy. Only Micheal Caine was missing. ()

angielski Surprisingly, I enjoyed Miss Congeniality (2000) because it delivered some solid humor despite its straightforward and predictable plot. While not a groundbreaking film, it kept me entertained and even got a few laughs out of me. Now, fast forward to the sequel, clearly made to capitalize on the success of the first one, and unfortunately, all the good vibes I had were flushed down the drain. A major red flag for the sequel was the absence of the original cast, signaling a potential dip in quality. True to expectations, the story, which kicked off with some action in the beginning, quickly devolved into a heap of clichés. If the first movie could be described as a comedy that appealed to women but also had something for the guys, this one lacked that extra spice for me. I did crack a smile here and there, but overall, I found myself a tad bored. The plot lost any semblance of logic, and it just didn't click with me anymore. It was nowhere near as amusing as the first movie. / Lesson learned: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. ()

angielski I’m supposed to watch a two-hour stroll through Las Vegas, with the horribly acting Sandra Bullock, wearing one crazy costume after another? No, thank you. After half an hour, I was forced to turn off this "piece of work" in which one would-be-humorous scene followed another, which perhaps couldn't even be meant seriously. I "skimmed through" the journey through Vegas just to make sure I wouldn't miss anything, including the would-be-grand finale. The terrible script, which borrows everything from the first film down to the last grain of the lamest joke, is further undermined by incredibly half-hearted directorial work that shows no effort in maintaining humor or coherent scene sequences. Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous is clear proof that producers (in this case Sandra Bullock herself) are willing to go to any lengths for money. Let anyone say what they want about (non)objectivity, but I will stand by my assessment and (subjective) view. ()
