Opowieść rozgrywa się na Ziemi 65 milionów lat temu, gdy na planecie królowały prehistoryczne olbrzymy - dinozaury. Losy młodego dinozaura Aladara, który, oddzielony od rodziców, został wychowany przez lemury. Spokojna egzystencja Aladara i jego towarzyszy na wyspie zostaje zakłócona, gdy potężne meteoryty zaczynają spadać na Ziemię. W tej sytuacji trzeba szukać bezpiecznego schronienia. (HBO)

The 39th Disney Feature Film This is very weak. Dinosaur is not so much a Disney feature as it is a display of new technology. Which is a shame. For this to work as a standalone film, it would have to work better with the opening premise, which is only a shadow of Tarzan.

It's really a children's film first and foremost, and unlike many other animated films it doesn't offer much to adults, so I think it's pointless to go through the inaccuracies and count the mistakes. If nothing else, one can just simply watch Dinosaur, because the production design is good and James Newton Howard's music is beautiful. I would like to highlight the Czech dubbing, which has a much more interesting cast than the original one (Jiri Langmajer, Jaroslav Satoranský, Květa Fialová...).
