The Stargate SG-1 team discovers what they believe to be the remnants of the lost city of the Ancients – the originators of the Stargates and Stargate Command launches an investigation to find the mythical city of Atlantis. I really didn’t plan on watching Atlantis and basically I forced myself to do so thanks to the guest appearance by Richard Dean Anderson and I was more than pleasantly surprised. I warmed to the new team in the end, and to the new villains. Probably because Atlantis is a cool city with lots of surprises.
