Ili gets a husband: A woman working at the loundry slips her photograph among the clean linen, getting herself to be married to the young neurologist thus.
Knight with the sunflower: Merilla, an orphan girl, on the point of being bullied by her wicked stepmother into marrying her evil-minded ne-ighbour, narrowly escapes the plight by marrying a knight.
Adventure on the Margaret bridge: A young engineer is about to commit suicide, while a girl, to save him, pretends to be about to commit a suicide herself. She successfully arouses the man's interest. In the dénouement, both admit that neither was willing to die.
