This is a movie about how the honest, brave, and kind-hearted Arabs waged a holy war against the vile, deceitful, and wicked Christians. There is lots of one-sided propaganda, which is, of course, inevitable due to the exceptional expense of making this epic Egyptian movie. Nevertheless, due to an almost fairy-tale naivety, this work simply can not be damned, the Christmas finale was wonderfully mental. [KVIFF 2019]
