Rare Birds

Dave Purcell just woke up on the wrong side of life. His marriage is dead and his restaurant just went belly up. Things look pretty bad for Dave until his eccentric neighbour comes to the rescue. Alphonse, Dave's neighbour, hatches a mad-yet-ingenious scheme in the hopes of saving his buddy's sagging fortunes. After staging the sightings of an extremely rare bird in the neighbourhood, birdwatchers and hungry patrons theo world over, flock to the area. The hoax succeeds far eyond expectations and business booms. But little does anyone know, Alphonse is working on a few other secret plans which will soon have Dave's restaurant swimming in controversy.
