December 3, 1971. War broke out between India and Pakistan. At the end of the war, 92,000 Pakistani soldiers returned home, 60,000 Indian defense personnel also returned. But 54 Indian soldiers remained unaccounted for. After nearly 33 years, their families are still waiting for their return. Ranvir Kaul (Amitabh Bachchan) is one of the many prisoners stuck in Pakistan. Gaurav (Akshaye Khanna) is the devoted son of Ranvir and is a man on a mission. So I thought it would be great to watch an Indian movie that nowadays resembles Bollywood more than older films. Unfortunately, I found out that it's just not something that's really for me because it doesn't quite suit me. It has its own specifics, which is great, but it just didn't click with me the way I wanted it to.
