Range Feud

Let's face it, the film clearly shows how naïve cinematography was in Hollywood in the early 1930s and how they were afraid to depict certain scenes. The final kiss is a beautiful proof of that. On the other hand, how often do you see John Wayne as a man who's supposed to be hanged? Not very often. The film has a relatively interesting plot for its time, unfortunately it is resolved very quickly. As a reminder of old times, it's fine, but in the genre, it's just average. (29.10.2013)
