Casanova (David Tennant), takes us from the decadent streets of the 18th Century Venice to the salons of pre-revolution Paris, and on to the London courts of George III, until a trip to Naples finally breaks Casanova's heart. 44 years later, Casanova (Peter O'Toole), a librarian in a castle, far exiled from Venice is dying. angielski Without unnecessary verbosity, without powderedness and without embarrassing dialogues. If it weren't for the failed character of the descendant in the second part, it would be one of the peaks of television production. Peter O'Toole is a great Casanova and Rose Byrne as his savior is a gentle flower in his life, as he himself says, "full of disgust". In addition, the central motif of true love for a lifetime is a wonderful sentimental tearjerker and a realistic story thanks to Tennant's divine enthusiasm. ()
