Fabienne beautifully described how this anime series is in his review! Basically, there is a combination of quite enjoyable stand-alone episodes with quite an interesting subject matter. It also features likable characters, nice musical motifs, and all of this is put together with an ecchi element in its purest and uncensored form. I remember the ecchi element from when I started watching anime series when they were full of "pants shots" because the skirts were so damn short, and you could see breasts at least twice in an episode and buttocks at least once in every episode. Plus, there is no stupid fog, no black stripes, and everything is as it should be. Even the female protagonists are typical ecchi anime character types. There is something for everyone. There is the "good one," to whom nature has blessed the most, the energetic small and flat-chested Lolita girl, then the tsundere, who is angry that she did not get as much from mother nature as her sister, and the cold emotionless one, who does not give a shit about the size of her breasts. They have to deal with interesting narratives concerning relationships, friendships, breakups, and other more profound stuff, which happens in a very good atmosphere with an often well-thought-out plot and sometimes nice musical motifs. When they are not doing that, we can see them in bathrooms, cabanas, spa pools, and sometimes we just see up their skirts, because why not? The combination was, at least in my opinion, very strange, and somehow I could not imagine that I could follow the plot, feel moved, and drool over all the eroticism all at once. I think that the narratives could definitely do without the nudity, and I have now gotten to the point where I actually feel distracted by it. I truly did not miss the old (although definitely better than the current) erotica at all. I am a boring prude, and I am only awarding this an average rating. This is because the best narrative and performance combined with the irritating ecchi element (irritating = that which is forcibly and excessively crammed in, i.e., disturbs the mood when I am watching it) rarely produces a better result, I think. 5.5/10.
