angielski The first three episodes are below average and boring in my opinion. After all, no one enjoys long takes where the viewer has time to make and drink a cup of coffee. Let alone at the beginning, when you still have no connection to the series. It's a pity that the idea wasn't used more meaningfully in the first episodes. But from the fourth episode onwards it won me over and my rating increased rapidly. The disappointment in the form of "a year later" didn't come again until somewhere around episodes 11-12. It's cowardly to slip out at the best part like that and deprive the viewer of such powerful moments. Fortunately, the plot started moving in an interesting direction again. I ran out of words by the final episode... Both Rain and Min-ah Shin are among my top favorites and they didn't disappoint me here. Another plus is the beautiful, melodic music. I’m giving it 5 stars, although that's not fair at all and I should really be giving it 3 stars. It just took me by the heart, and in these cases I just can't help it. ()

angielski Except for a few moments, and except for the quite interestingly handled last episode, I was pretty bored. The shaky camera and the long looks at crying faces or the landscape (yes, we're trying to be artsy, but that doesn't lend itself to a show like this) didn't help either. I'm sure it could have been cut in half and it would have been much better. Whatever. What kept me with it, on the other hand, was the very excellent music. Songs interspersed through the plot – nothing new, but something that worked so beautifully here. The OST might be worth a download. I didn't even sympathize much with the characters, I just watched like a ruthless God, as someone uninvolved, as someone watching the swarming anthill. The only thing that moved me, at least a little, was the way Kim played that wind instrument (sorry, I don't know what to call it) + plus the dedication beforehand. [POSSIBLE SPOILER!] He really was a good guy after all. :-) And the last episode, maybe a bit expectedly, ended it; fine, I'm not made of ice (like someone – a bit of black humor, those who have seen it will understand), it was kind of sad too, but it just doesn't bring you to tears. [END OF POSSIBLE SPOILER!] Somewhat of a slightly better 3 stars. Do you like Asian cinema, long winter? Go for it! ()
