Opisy(1)
After the Red-Cross inspection in the Theresienstadt ghetto, it was decided to use the sets built for this purpose for a propaganda film. The documentary The Fuhrer Gives a City to the Jews was supposed to present Theresienstadt as a place where the Jews happily worked for the Reich, had enough food and entertainment. Obviously, it was a disgusting fiction: the conditions in the camp were horrible. Shortly after the shooting, the film's director as well as most of the cast were deported to Auschwitz and murdered in gas chambers. (Summer Film School)
