Jane jest beztroską i dość leniwą 20-latką, która marzy o karierze aktorskiej. Poznajemy ją w chwili słabości, gdy o poranku zajada się ciasteczkami, upieczonymi przez jej zbzikowanego współlokatora. W ten sposób dziewczyna próbuje pozbyć się tremy przed czekającym ją castingiem do filmu. Metoda wydaje się skuteczna, każde ciasteczko zmniejsza tremę, powiększając jednocześnie uśmiech na jej twarzy… Kiedy uśmiech ten jest już baaardzo szeroki, Jane uświadamia sobie, że domowe wypieki doprawiono specyficzną przyprawą, potocznie zwaną trawką i wpółlokator nie będzie zachwycony ich brakiem. Jane ma zaledwie kilka godzin, żeby zakupić „towar” u lokalnego dealera, zapłacić rachunek za prąd i zdążyć na przesłuchanie w sprawie pracy. Trudno jest pogodzić wszystkie te czynności, gdy się jest ... na haju. (Cineman)

I'm not one of those Anna Faris haters — I've got nothing against her. But in this film, she was a bit too much for me. The camera seemed to linger too long on her face, maintaining that Magnum 5 Kristen Stewart expression throughout (granted, she pulled it off quite well). Clearly, I wasn't in the right mood to appreciate the movie, and on top of that, I lack any personal experience in this realm. When it comes to experimentation, my interests have taken quite a different route :-) So, unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the film, but I'll give it a star for the effort to explore an unfamiliar theme. / Lesson learned: Steer clear of topics that don't resonate with you.
