Opisy(1)

A crazy comedy about secret love, a psycho killer, iron bars, canapées and a friendship on trial. Terkel is a 6th grade student. A bit of a sissy, but okay after all. Terkel does not have an easy life. His psychopathic uncle Stewart has just beaten up the tough guys from Terkel's class, Nigel and Saki. So what can you do to draw their attention away from the thought of revenge? You start teasing the ugly girl in the class, Fat Doris. But who could imagine that she would jump out of the window? That you would start to get death threats ? That the new teacher and animal lover, Justin, does not have as clear a conscience as expected and in fact that nothing is, as is seems ? At least not for Terkel.... (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)

angielski The definition of filmmaking retardation and the perfect anti-discipline of what school is really like. I mean, yeah, there are probably some model situations from life in there, but the forcefully-pushed wannabe cool style combined with the noticeably sloppy just won't score any points with audiences. angielski Yes, Terkel has a problem. Two problems. The first is globalization and the second is the technological revolution, which together has caused film fans to be able to easily access film and television news from all around the world in the shortest possible time, so viewers are spoiled and it is difficult to surprise them. Terkel in Trouble is not the best work people can find. It is not filled with as many catchphrases as The Simpsons, it is not as outrageous as South Park, it does not have as clever a script and top-notch animation as the great animated blockbusters from Pixar or Disney, and it does not have the artistic visual style and imagination like, for example, Barta's movie In the Attic or Who Has a Birthday Today?. Nonetheless, it is not bad and is slightly above average in the category of animated films. The target audience poses a certain difficulty because thematically it should appeal to older children, but it is too cynical and bloody for younger children - I simply wouldn't let my two children watch it - and for adults, it is a bit childish. Overall impression: 60%. ()

angielski Terkel in Trouble has the problem of being neither sufficiently funny and bold to score significantly with younger audiences, nor socially provocative and satirical enough to pique the interest of adults. It's just a crazy parade of dirty humour and over-the-top animation, where occasionally some good lines pop up, but mostly we get bored with the stupid story and curse the Czech dubbing, which didn't suit me at all this time. South Park, though I'm not a fan of it either, is far more creative and effective. 50% ()

angielski The initial titles will let you know that not everything in this animated movie will be as expected. There are relatively few animated films for adults, apart from Japanese insanities and films that are more pornographic than pornography, there are really few good adult animates. The film "Norman and the Ghosts" came close to such a film, but it is still for children. This certainly does not apply to the film "Terkel Has a Problem" because it is a properly vulgar animated film. It is probably on the same level as the film "Save Jimmy". Terkel is more entertaining.
