Bokura ga ita

For the first 7 or so episodes I felt a terrible tightness about it, it really made me uncomfortable, so it took me a bit longer to get over that uncomfortable "feeling" section. But then it finally started to get interesting, and even good; I was just getting annoyed that her eyes kept disappearing – some kind of perversion? :-) The series then sort of flowed, it didn't give off as many unhappy waves as it did at the beginning, although it did get more tearful as time went on. Somehow I didn't really sympathize with any of the characters except Takeuchi, somehow I never really started to hate him like everyone else did, even for a second. I remember the bright moment in episode 21 when I really felt resentment towards Yano. That Nanami with her solutions to this and that didn't impress me much, either. Still, they're interesting characters and worth exploring – for a few episodes. I did like that this series has more "sweet" songs (I think they even alternated in the ending position, but I'm not sure...). But it's too long for what's going on, what's being addressed, and I couldn't help feeling that it was completely unnecessary. And there's a lot of bubbles and pastel colors. Anyway, it’s over when it’s over, albeit with the promise of a second series (which will never happen), so just open the manga and read how those dumbasses tormented each other (again, completely unnecessarily) and how they turned out.
