Afghanistan, November 2001: Two months after 9/11, a CIA operative leads a hardcore U.S. Special Forces squad on a classified mission deep into harsh and hostile Taliban territory. Their objective is to locate a Muslim cleric with possible ties to a deadly cache of WMDs. But what they instead discover is a phenomenon beyond anything known to man. angielski I was glad that it ended! Daniel Myrick has the very unfortunate gift of choosing interesting topics and bore viewers to death with them. In The Objective, we follow a military unit (there’s only one woman in the entire film and she’s covered in a burka, so if you’re getting bored, you don’t have anything else to look at) that encounters a supernatural entity in the Afghan mountains. It’s so much fun! Soldiers in the desert. Heat. Thirst. There’s a light. Bang! Bang! One dead. Fight. Fuck. Carry on. Heat. Thirst. There are two lights. Bang! Bang! I’m exaggerating a little, of course, sometimes, instead of an ordinary light, the monster appears in another form, but that doesn’t change anything. It could have been interesting sci-fi, but the result is unfortunately a semi-amateur underdeveloped product that doesn’t deserve much attention. ()
