Daniel Auteuil and Jean-Pierre Darrousin met one day over a devastated garden and as they used to be friends and did not see each other for decades, they had a lot to talk about. And that talking was absolutely amazing. It’s that kind of talk when two friends, whose journeys were suddenly separated just so they could suddenly reunite again, meet. However, life is tough, and the screenwriters did not spare the viewer, so apart from pleasant conversations, which, if you properly listen to them, are at times really funny, you also encounter some not so pleasant dramas, which are a part of life as we know it. This movie made me feel great but also absolutely terrible. It made me connect with the souls of two people, who were trying to create a pretty garden in the middle of the French countryside, but then I felt everything with them.
