In America, we define ourselves in the superlative: we are the biggest, strongest, fastest country in the world. We reward speed, size and above all else: winning - at sport, at business and at war. Metaphorically we are a nation on steroids. Is it any wonder that so many of our heroes are on performance enhancing drugs? (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)

angielski A de-mythification of the American dream in which the rich and successful are all crooks and liars who have eased their way to the top with steroids. It's not as offensive as Michael Moore’s films, but it's also not as tendentious and pandering to the audience’s emotions. Bell has a clever way of asking questions and drawing clear conclusions. It’s too bad that he lacks a bit of the filmmaking craft in that he could have let go of the editing scissors. After an hour he more or less repeats himself over and over again and the last twenty minutes are genuinely boring. But still... while it leaves an impression, it doesn't erase the Arnold icon. 3 ½.
