The would-be costume fun came to an abrupt end, and the Wie sie wirklich war series became nothing but boring porn. Only the beginning, when the new protagonist, Carmen Chevalier (who is said to have lived to see the sixth episode in good health), is confronted on her way to the porn cinema by a figure in a costume from a fancy dress ball, evokes the vicissitudes of the life of a mature Viennese woman. A secondary detail is the Mutzenbacher cinema posters, which add variety to a now quite historically interesting trip to a business that is now a thing of the past.
