It surprised me how well the childlike 3D animation can work in this live-action film. The characters are so cute, and the story has momentum, especially the interaction with people seemed very good to me. It gets a little awkward towards the end, but considering that I didn't have high hopes for the movie, I am satisfied with the outcome.
