It's 1975, and a young married couple - Vietnam vet Burt (David Anders) and preacher's daughter Vicki (Kandyse McClure) - are driving cross-country straight into the heartland of Hell. Here in Gatlin, Nebraska, the town's bloodthirsty children - led by the boy preacher Issac and his teen enforcer Malachai - have slaughtered all adults by command of He Who Walks Behind The Rows. Now two new Outlanders have arrived...and The Time of Sacrifice is at hand. (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)

angielski A cheap TV movie that is so stupid at times that almost makes you laugh – even though it takes itself very seriously. The filmmakers should be commended for patiently trying to build an atmosphere, but unfortunately, they often do it at the expense of other important things, like for instance, the bearings of the audience – there are characters who often show up in places where they should never be. It’s hard to say how faithful the script is to King’s short story or to the the first film adaptation (I didn’t read the former, nor watched the latter), but I guess that they came up themselves with that weird ending (in the bad sense). I can’t recommended it in any way, or maybe only if you want to enjoy the longest and most boring chase in a corn field that I’ve ever seen. ()
