Grupa młodych ludzi wyjeżdża na kilka dni do położonego w górskiej głuszy domku letniskowego. Mają nadzieję na wspaniałą zabawę, ale rozrywkowy pobyt bardzo szybko zamienia się w najgorszy koszmar ich życia. Ktoś brutalnie morduje jednego z uczestników wyjazdu i zostawia informację, że jeśli do określonej pory sami nie pozbędą się kolejnej osoby, on się tym zajmie. Wszelkie próby ucieczki kończą się tragicznie, więc młodzi ludzie muszą dokonać wyboru, czy stawić czoła bezwzględnemu zabójcy, czy postępować zgodnie z jego wskazówkami. (Polsat)

Really, putting eight friends in a summer cottage and have them kill each other under the supervision of a deranged psychopath is not a bad idea. Actually, it’s a very good idea that a smart screenwriter could do wonders with. If they worked properly with the psychology of the characters, it could be something nerve-wrecking. Unfortunately, the screenwriter of Kill Theory doesn’t seem to have that much talent (though he isn’t a bum either) and what we got instead is a nothing but a fairly entertaining slasher that doesn’t scare, nor does it disgust with brutality, but you sure won’t get bored. I could have been more than satisfied, but the idea of a brutal psychological horror film bearing the same name slightly erodes that satisfaction. But I’m still rating it with strong three stars, though.
