Does TV trash like Melrose Place deserve a new generation? Well, 18 episodes is quite the miracle. At the start, the news series features Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro and Josie Bissett (with Daphne Zuniga and Heather Locklear also set to appear) among the newcomers from the old Melrose Place and those really aren't names worthy of note on their own. From the new generation, we get Colin Egglesfield (The Client List) Victor Webster (Mutant X) and Kelly Carlson (Nip/Tuck), and they're not that special either... Joe Lando is supposed to appear at some point too. :D Those names say it all. The new Melrose Place is a forgettable TV mistake that's just part of the nostalgia frenzy. Only systematic viewers should bother watching this filler.
