Dziennikarz Frank Quinlan przeczuwa, że jest to temat na pierwszą stronę. Musi dotrzeć do rzekomego anioła i sprowadzić go do redakcji w Chicago. Frank wyrusza w podróż wraz z kolegą po fachu, Hueyem Driscollem, oraz ekspertem do spraw aniołów, Dorothy Winters. Wszyscy są przekonani, że historia to jeden wielki żart. (Ale kino+)

Michael is great. He is an Archangel, he is played by John Travolta and he has no qualms about drinking and smoking. He’s a bit ahead of his time, because in 1996 it wasn’t yet fashionable to create counter-current characters, as a lot of those who tried ended up like those guys in Trainspotting. Anyhow, I must say that’s a really nice movie with a message. And that’s enough, even though my overall rating is three stars. Travolta delivered an ultimate performance, so he really deserves these three stars.
