Trop prowadzi z Los Angeles na pustynię w Nowym Meksyku. Stopniowo okazuje się, że sprawa jest bardziej skomplikowana niż mogłoby się wydawać. Na drodze Neda staje brutalny rosyjski przestępca, a także trzech bardzo pewnych siebie policjantów z LA. Kluczem do rozwiązania zagadki wydaje się być milioner, który owładnięty jest obsesją odtworzenia Wielkiego Wybuchu. (Cineman)

The Big Bang is a hallucinogenic thriller hybrid with the strong stench of a B-movie. And I don’t mean just the
illumination as from a TV hustler film from the 1980s or awkward camera angles, but also the selection of certain actors
and the portrayal of their characters. Had it not been for some of Antonio Banderas’ catchphrases and the frantic plot
development in the last third, which arouses the audience’s interest in how it will all turn out, the result would have
been truly tragic. To base such a cheap-looking film on sophisticated flashback narration of a story full of questions is
hara-kiri in itself.
