angielski This is a bilingual language version of The Blue Angel that was filmed simultaneously with the German version in English. There was no recasting, only the dialogue was cut and individual scenes were treated less vulgarly as if it was clear from the start that the English version would be intended for puritan export. Theoretically, this was the case, but during the short time that Marlene was a star in Morocco, there was no need to expand her fame with a secondary version of her first sound film, and quality won out over prejudice.
