Since a young age, Eun Jo (Moon Geun Young) has learned to trust no one and live strong on her own. Used to being dragged from one broken home to another by her manipulative, money-grubbing mother (Lee Mi Sook), Eun Jo doesn't know what to make of her mother's latest catch Dae Sung (Kim Gab Soo), the solemn head of a traditional rice wine brewery. Both Dae Sung and his daughter, bubbly spoiled princess Hyo Sun (Seo Woo), warmly welcome wary young Eun Jo into their sprawling home, and treat her with a kindness that she simply can't stomach. Instead, she forms a bond with brewery staff Ki Hoon (Chun Jeong Myung), the first person to see past her tough act, and it is his betrayal that will hurt the most. Naive Hyo Sun, meanwhile, stubbornly seeks affection at every turn, only to slowly realize she's losing Ki Hoon and everything else in her life to her cold stepsister. (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)

angielski After watching the trailer, I was outrageously excited and wanted to see it. What a disappointment it was when it came out that what they’re showing in the trailer simply doesn't happen one bit. The story of this dorama isn't worth much, but why am I giving it 3 stars? For Moon Geun-young, this actress is just divine, what she did here is just unprecedented and the script didn't give her much... She's the only reason I finished watching it. Otherwise, 20 episodes for a story like this is a waste of screenplay paper in my opinion... The main characters are stupid and dumb. Luckily, the best Korean dad ever (not only Korean, the altogether best movie dad that I've ever experienced :-)) saves the day for a while. Another disappointment was when they cut the main character's hair; why did they do that? Infuriating! The guys have something nice to look at, the lead actresses are pretty; the girls here have Taecyeon to drool over. It's accompanied by a very nice song (see trailer), fits every moment it starts. But otherwise? If it weren't for Moon, I'd find this a below average dorama, with a great, evil half-brother of the main character :-) ()
