Braterstwo zgłębia środowisko duńskich neonazistów, w którym najbardziej błyskotliwy spośród rekrutów – Lars – jest jednocześnie zakamuflowanym gejem. Zawiedziony po pominięciu go przy rozdzielaniu awansów w wojsku (najprawdopodobniej jako konsekwencja plotek o jego skłonnościach homoseksualnych) Lars wydaje się kwestionować swoją męskość i szuka jej potwierdzenia gdzie indziej. Gdy trafia do neonazistowskiej grupy, gdzie jest szanowany i doceniany, całkowicie wnika w nowe środowisko. Poznaje tam Jimmy’ego, jednego z inicjatorów brutalnego linczu na młodym geju. Wkrótce wzajemna fascynacja Larsa i Jimmy’ego staje się dla obu bardzo niebezpieczna i coraz trudniejsza do ukrycia. (Mayfly)

I saw the film for the second time after several years and I remembered the plot only vaguely. I was curious to see if it would have the same effect on me as it once did. At first, I didn't quite believe it, but when the first hint of emotional spark between Lars and Jimmy emerged, I was hooked again. It is probably clear to everyone that having a homosexual relationship and being a member of a neo-Nazi group is a guaranteed road to hell. How I cheered for those two and worried about them... In addition, Thure Lindhardt and David Dencik played the lovers so believably that there was an incredible spark between them. Deep down, I wished they had succeeded. Still, I have to appreciate the more or less expected destructive ending, without which the story would be hardly believable.
